The hotel’s accessible entrance is the valet entrance or the east entrance to the hotel. Full accessibly bathrooms and gender-neutral bathrooms can be found on the lobby level of the hotel.

Event Registration

Registration is located on the convention floor of the Fairmont Royal York in the Ballroom Foyer.

Registration Desk hours:

Monday 11 March                  3:00pm – 8:00pm

Tuesday 12 March                  7:30am – 3:00pm

Wednesday 13 March             8:00am – 4:00pm

Are you a passenger with a disability or are you travelling with someone with a disability? Pearson provides a wide variety of accessible services and facilities designed to enable more choice and greater independence as you travel through the airport.

To make sure you have a safe and enjoyable trip, we recommend you notify your airline of your needs at least 48 hours before your flight.

Traveling by Train

Up Express to Union Station, located near the Fairmont, is 25 minutes and runs every 15 minutes.

Mobility Aids – transportation from the terminals

Passengers with mobility aids cannot be refused, hindered, or charged extra fees (in addition to the standard vehicle tariffs) to transport their equipment.

 

Uber vehicles capable of carrying a non-folding or non-collapsible mobility aid are available through Uber WAV. Please confirm accessible vehicle availability with Uber WAV at the time of booking though the Uber app.

 

Lyft vehicles capable of carrying a non-folding or non-collapsible mobility aid are not available. However, these vehicles can accommodate a small mobility aid.

​

Accessible vehicles, capable of carrying a non-folding or non-collapsible mobility aid are available upon request at the limousine stands located at each of the terminals. Taxis and limousine can carry a small mobility aid.

Terminal 3 – Arrivals Level (Map)

  • Limos: Door F

 

Travelling with animals

By law, drivers can refuse to take passengers with animals, unless they are service or assistance animals. If you are travelling with an animal and need help hiring a taxi or limo, ask the attendant at the curb to find a vehicle that will accommodate you.

Service Animals

If you are travelling with a service animal, you can take the first vehicle in the taxi or limo line-up.

Mobility Aids 

Passengers with mobility aids cannot be refused, hindered, or charged extra fees (in addition to the standard vehicle tariffs) to transport their equipment.

​

Taxis and Limos. 

Licensed taxis and limos do not pick up passengers inside the terminals or parking garages. Please see maps for pick up locations.
